There is plenty of video on this, that was told never to air just ask the 200 witnesses in the room at the time."

Campaign Issues for 2010 Elections

 

 

1)Same Sex Marriage- With six states now in America legalizing marriage between same sex partners, and the Presdident  giving Federal Employees same sex benefits. I see this Issue the most important social Issue we will face in the United States in the near future.Throughout time marriage has been recognized between man and woman for thousands of years. It has been preached in our churches  and taught in our homes that marriage is sacrament. No one will argue that same sex partners should not have partners or not have someone to love. The arguement I make is this where do we draw the line? If there is a fundamental change in the definition of marriage where does it stop? Do we allow Fathers to marry their daughters or mothers marry their sons? How about having a husband being able to have 4 wives or vise versa a wife taking 4 husbands?  I do believe that recognizing Same Sex Marriage you open all kinds of crazy situations that people would want in the interest of fairness. How would advocates of Same Sex Marriage handle situations like the ones I mention above, are they going to say no marriage of familly members to each other ? Or to Polygamy what are their stances to these marriages? The citizens of Virginia went to the polls in 2006 to vote on this issue , the new challenge is that at the Federal level the Obama Adminastration is working up plans for the National legalization of "Same Sex Marriage" this issue will come back around.

 

I openly and proudly say I am fully against Same Sex Marriages and the moral decline it would open us up to. I support Virginia law that would not recognize any Same Sex Marriage performed in the Commonwealth of Virginia or recognize any Same Sex Marriages that were performed in other states.

 

 

 

2)Economic Meltdown- With the jobless rate at 9.4% and the shutting down of the American Auto Industry it is not hard to realize the reality. The reality is we have spent to much in government and have gotten little in return except future debt that our children are being forced to pay off. The only way to solve this problem is to get a handle on the out of control of waste and spending. A Fiscal Consevative approach is needed to really get a understanding of our financial situation. I am for a overall Audit of the Federal Reserve, to find the wasteful funding and weed it out of the process. We as Elected officials need to spend the citizens money responsibly not as if it is our personal piggy bank.

 

 

 

3)Truth- With the Election of Barrack Obama to President we as a nation have set out on a course of self damnation. When the leader of the United States spews lies ,rethoric, and political snipings of a former President it sets a bad precident here in America. Long ago the American people have made it clear that these old ways of politics are not wanted or desired. Once a person a narcsist like Obama settles in to their world of reality that they know all the answers things go wrong. Self delusion sets in that they are the only ones that matter. What I want to bring to you the voters  of Virginia is the Representation of one that isnt filled with my over inflated ego. I want to be your voice as a elected official  of Virginia and represent you and your families best interests. And  I will always Mean what I Say and Say what I mean.

 

 

4)Benefits for Slain Officers in line of duty.- With the cut by the Obama Adminastration to the benefits of spouses of slain law enforcement from 110 million down to 60 million dollars I pledge not to cut funding for the beneficiaries in the United States.With the tragic loss of a loved one the last thing a spouse of a fallen law enforcement officer should have to stress, worry about is the benefits that they receive taken from them. What more punishment does a person need who has lost their loved one in the line of duty.When the law enforcement community put on their uniform and go out into our communities putting their lives in danger there should not be a thought that if I should fall how would my family be taken care of? Not on my watch I will go to bat for you the law enforcement and the spouses of them. I want you to know that in your sacrifice to keep us safe I will do my damndest to see that your families are looked after. After all its the least we can do for what you do. I support the Hometown Heroes Act also.

 

 

 

5)Military Retirement Benefits- When collecting my Petition Signatures to get on the Ballot for the 28th House District I met many different people with their own ideas and input. This particular issue was brought to my attention that I had no clue about. It is the way Retired Military Benefits are regulated. In Oklahoma now in the State Senate is a bill that will be the first in the United States. It is Oklahoma H.B 1053 it is the issue of military retiree Frank Kurland.

 

As it stands now under law now Retirement benefits are seen as property and Miltary Retirees have to pay their ex spouses even if they remarry that is totally indifferent from their civilian counterparts. Under Oklahoma HB 1053 payments would be veiwed as alimony and the alimony would stop when the spouse remarries.

 

I believe that many of our military retirees would benefit from a change in Virginia's law to reflect this bill in Oklahoma.

6)Cap and Trade- As I would refer to it would be Crap and Raid. Does anyone really believe this bill would do a damn thing to help the environment? Why are we suppose to tax ourselves Mr. President for a policy that will not decrease a single bit of carbon from the air. Evidence proves you wrong, the evidence shows we are in a cooling trend. We in the Commonwealth don't think it is right that tax increases are going to come from the policies you are wanting.What is coming citizens of the 28th House District of Virginia is a rate hike from Dominion Power to pay for the looting by the Federal Government. It is almost like BlackMale the way the President has enacted this agenda. People it is going to get rough, things will get financially tight for you.You are going to bare the brunt of this money making scheme of Obama and his supporters.The power companies are going to receive the vent of frustration from your tax increase, just remember that it wasnt the power companies who enacted these laws.

 

As a concerned citizen I will see that the utility companies are fair and balanced in the rates that will come due to the enourmous Taxes they are going to face. The reason the hike in the electric bills to come will be because of the taxes the power companies will have to pay. I hope I am wrong about the way I see Virginia heading ,but the road ahead lies clear, and open I see where we are headed. I do believe that each of us are going to need to utilize the utilites alittle more conservative not for the fear of Global Warming but the fear of not having any money month to month due to the high taxes headed our way.
